New Beginnings

I had felt like this only once before,

The day I entered into high school,

Feelings of uncertainty and wonder,

Flowing through me,

My mind roaming beyond the borders of my life at present,

Searching for some answers,

The extensive journey of my hopeful mind,

Left me with more unanswered questions,

Will I make it?

Will I be successful?

Will I live up to expectations?

Or will I fail miserably?

These linger on the border of my mind,

And render my spirit helpless,

For curiosity of the future seeps in,

I gaze towards the stars to try and get some answers,

But all I could see was a list of endless possibilities,

Arise before me,

And with the end of one chapter of my life,

Comes the beginning of a new one,

Sending through me a ripple of fear and intense anxiety of the outcome,

The glowing flame of time that could not be extinguished,

Knowing all I can do right now is wait,

And see what the future holds.

Rumors

With every passing moment I remember,

The wretched words said,

And I reflect in despair,

On a broken heart and destroyed mind,

Slayed by the tongue.

I tried to free myself from your grasp,

From the constraint of your clasped hands,

From the poison that lingers restlessly,

On the tip of your tongue.

But still you persist,

Chasing me to all ends of the earth,

With the venom of your soul,

The suffering you brought unto me dwelling,

The whip slashing my spirit,

With every cut some truth dies,

Killed mercilessly by your tongue.

A dark whisper to one,

Evolves into a tremor that shakes up life,

And with each breath released,

It carries with it a virus,

That plagues my mind,

A parasite robbing you of truth.

I boil with deep anger,

At the person I have become,

A destructive soul,

Ruled by a force of prime evil,

Tortured by the light of darkness,

Revealing a cloak of deception,

That shadows my life,

A blissful sin that clouds me.

I try to fight it,

But the voices are triumphant,

I fade away,

In the torment of my life,

Too angry,

Too afraid,

Too tortured to tell the truth,

That it's all a lie,

It's not true,

It's only a rumor,

But it continues to spread,

The words spilt in the brief moment of time,

The rumors that destroy the soul.

Chapter 8

And here it is guys. The long awaited conclusion to 'If Only You Knew' Enjoy and don't forget to give me feedback!!!

They fought for about a half an hour, until Orchid finally defeated her.

Orchid stood over Shana-ray as she lay on the ground, tired and out of breath. Orchid was also exasperated from a weary battle and if the fight hadn't ended soon she doesn't think she could continue and triumph over Shana-ray. But Orchid won. She was triumphant and victorious.

"Well? Aren't you going to finish me?" she cried as she held her side.

"No! I'm very tempted to, but….No! I'll have mercy on you, though you wouldn't have any on me and don't deserve it." Orchid said smockly but full of her still remaining pride.

And with that Orchid took out a pair of titanium handcuffs, handcuffed Shana-ray to an iron post and released a sigh of relief. Orchid was huffing and puffing for a moment before her memory came racing back to her and she remembered the real reason she was there, to save Andrew and Orlene. She walked over to where Orlene was and asked her little sister if she was okay and then worked hard to release her. Orlene had said she was fine and that Orchid should go to Andrew because he looks worn out.

"Hey there! Let me help you to get out of this." Orchid said as she began cutting the rope that bound him to the chair. "Are you going to be alright?" she enquired to him.

"Yeah I am. I'm okay. Thank you very much for saving me from those crazy girls. I owe you big time," he said as he rotated his wrists in a circular motion.

"Anytime," Orchid answered as she helped him to walk out of the warehouse towards the sounds of the sirens visible in the distance and nearing every second. On the way she rejoined her friends and enquired as to whether or not they were alright. They all answered yes, though she could see evidence that all engaged in vicious battles with the other terrors.

"They are all in there," Orchid said to the head of the police swat team as they stormed into the warehouse.

"Thanks again," Andrew said a few minutes later as they were walking away from the ambulance.

"Oh, don't worry about it," Orchid replied thoughtfully.

"No! You saved my rear from being abused by those maniacs. And for that I thank you…" (pause) " Oh and by the way is it true what they said in there a little while before about you wanting me?"

"Wouldn't you like to know?" Orchid said nonchalantly and flirtatiously.

"I think so. You can't deny it." And with that he grabbed Orchid and kissed her.

"Wow that was great! Hmmm…..Well I like the way you start to repay your debts," Orchid said jokingly and then he kissed her again.

His lips pierced hers in a hard yet soothing way. He wanted to drain her of all resistance but he felt none. Their lips met and slowly caressed each other. He wants to make their bodies mesh in pure merriment and Orchid wanted this feeling two. Orchid melted in his arms immediately and her knees felt weak due to the deep, passionate kiss she was receiving from Andrew. For as long as she could remember she felt completely happy and without any complaints. Then he released her and she grabbed him back and completed the strong but lovely kiss.

(A few hours later)

This ever so loved kiss lasted for a long while before Orchid and Andrew were released from their fervent embrace. They had parted to their ways and Orchid had left his company and returned to the agency to speak with the Head of the Agency.

"Agent Green, you did well" the head complimented her.

"I just did well?" She asked a little hurt and searched for more from the head.

"Okay, you did GREAT!!!" he rephrased his response to her brilliant accomplishment of completing her mission.

"Thanks a lot sir. I'm just doing my job. It's just another day for me." She said with a huge, delightful smile and turned to leave the premises.

Insider Stuff!!!

Just to note this is not the first time i've actually written about any of my exes and posted it. For example, Saviour is about my other ex Clive. He's been a pretty big inspiration poetically for me. I've written a lot of poems based on my feelings for him during our relationship and how I felt after the ending of it. I've also written about Akeem too. About during and after the relationship. And now my newest inspiration of torture soul poetry is Craig and the whole thing around my break up with him. It's amazing how I can take a negative and turn it into a poetic positive and a master piece of self expression so you should all be expecting more out of me in the coming year. Lots more. You can bet on it. Keep reading and commenting.

Ode to a friend

Here is a poem from relationship past. I believe in using real life experiences to fuel my poetic nature so hear is a poem that I wrote for one of my exes a long time ago.

Gazing into the stars,
To a galaxy of the unknown,
Looking and searching,
For the hidden,
The indefinite and the mysterious.

She explores the lost world,
Looking for another lost soul like herself,
That desires a savior.

And alas she has found him,
A brand new person,
Sent down to rescue her.
She has found someone new in her life.

A new friend emerges,
From the shambles,
Another hero sent,
To rescue her from boredom,
Another fulfiller of dreams,
Sent to encourage her,
And another motivator,
Delivered from the heavens,
To inspire her,
To combat all forces,
Who tend to have the desire,
To destroy all her dreams,
Her hopes,
And,
Her beliefs.

One who opens her eyes,
To all the possibilities,
That the world's opened door,

Leads to.

Akeem, Akeem, I'll be your queen and you my king. LOL You wish it were so! (wink, wink)

Subterfuge

Anger of a hurtful betrayal,

Slain by the words of thee,

The slash from the whip of the tongue,

The sound of your voice echoes in my mind,

The evil deeds you played back constantly in my thoughts,

Thoughts and questions cloud my mind,

Asking why? And how?

Wanting to know the answers.

Being deceived into thinking we were friends,

Lied to and hurt,

Crying from the pain of my wounds,

Scarred from the marks of the dagger,

Dagger of a dreadful truth,

The truth of treachery,

The truth of perfidy,

The truth that you were disloyal,

Unfaithful,

I mistrusted you,

I got swindled into your web of lies,

Impaired judgment,

And misguided decisions,

Overbearing, the silent screams of your ruse,

Exploding inside me,

The streams seeking release,

But,

My mind is a cage,

Imprisoning my emotions,

Of a titanium fear,

And the ricocheting of a burning anger.

CHAPTER 7

Hey All. This is just another story update. This is actually the second to last chapter of the book. After this I will start another. Well maybe but I will definitely be keeping the poems coming. So keep checking out my blog for those ever so loved updates and posts and don't forget to give me some feedback. Writing is one of my passions and when I get feedback I can improve so keep them coming. Good. Bad. In Between. Just tell me in a decent manner. Please and thank you. Anyways moving past my ramblings. Read on.

Orchid had finally entered the room where Andrew was kept before she heard footsteps come up behind her and a voice from behind her say, "Oh! So we meet again." In an instance she turned to see Shana-ray, slowly revealing herself from her dark hiding space with a flashlight.

Too much drama, don't you think?" Orchid replied mockingly.

"I thought I had gotten rid of you," she continued, "but it looks like I am going to have to kill you personally. I always believed in the saying if you want the job done right you have to do it yourself, and that's what I'm about to do. I am going to kill you and have Andrew all to myself! And as for the other girls who are in on this scheme, they don't know it yet but they are going to have a 'terrible' accident real soon. Right after they find your team and destroy them of course."

"You fiend! How could you do this? Well what should I expect from a walking psychopath like you? You are nothing but pure, unaltered evil. And as far as getting rid of me and her team goes there is no chance in hell that you're going to destroy us and get away with this treacherous act. And besides, now that I know you're evil scheme, I am ready for you." Orchid said with utterly disgust towards her.

"Oh you do? Do you?" Shana-ray replied with a devilish laugh, "Honey! You don't even know half of my 'evil plot' as you call it…." "Take a look over there. What do you see?" she continued full of self confidence, after the brief pause.

She pointed to an area with her flashlight illuminating the scene. And there Orchid saw it……. When Orchid turned around, it was steering me straight in the face. She had captured her little sister Orlene and tied her up adjacent to Andrew.

"Just taking a few precautions, dear. You see it never hurts to be prepared for everything. So……. Orchid, who is it going to be? Orlene, your dear and beloved sister or Andrew, 'the man of you dreams'? she asked, mocking me and pleased with herself that her plan was working out well. She laughed boisterously to see the distraught look on Orchid's small face. Shana-ray's once innocent-looking features had transformed her into a dreaded horror.

Orchid stood there, as frozen as a block of ice, for a few moments. She was frozen to the point of no reply. Orchid couldn't answer that question. She couldn't choose. Oh fate was cruel and mocked her bitterly. But then an idea sparked in her mind. Why not use Shana-ray's own insecurities against her.

"Okay. I'll tell you what, let Orlene go and you can have Andrew," Orchid said trying to appear sincere.

"Really? No tricks?" she asked while filled with uncertainty.

"None what so ever," Orchid lied through her teeth.

"I knew you would make the right decision. But…. I don't think so," she replied with a smirk.

(Oh no! She didn't fall for it! My plan had failed) Orchid thought to herself.

But she had to keep her hope afloat, so Orchid enquired, "So what are we going to do?"

"Oh it's simple really. We are going to fight…..TO THE DEATH. Winner takes all," Shana-ray said as she moved around me in circles, getting ready to battle.

Orchid pondered over the decision for a while and decided to agree.

"Yes," she said, "Ready? Then let's go."

And with that they started the battle for our lives and for our loves.

"Unh!!!" Shana-ray replies as she received another blood gushing blow to the stomach.

"Ouch!!!" Orchid said as Shana-ray's fingernails began scraping her down her neck with one hand and Shana-ray's other hand pulling Orchid's hair out of its root, dragging across the room, then tossing Orchid into a corner.

"Get off me, you heifer," Orchid screamed and groaned, as Shana-ray had her pinned down on the ground. Then Orchid knee-kicked her in the stomach and jumped up.

(Groan)

"Come on bitch is that all you got?" Shana-ray yelled at me in an exasperated voice.

"No!" Orchid replied in a hoarse and tiring voice, as she began to charge at Shana-ray.

"Then bring it on, beeyatch," Shana-ray replied with a grunt.

Shana-ray began kicking Orchid in the side, until she fell down. Orchid was down for the count and when she finally regained her stamina she gave Shan-ray a mind-throttling punch to the face, which sent her flying to the ground. A feeling of will overpowered all her fear and she was ready to kick some butt.
